Rust-proofing underbody seal (oil-based) with low levels of harmful solvents. Can be painted over.
  • Has excellent corrosion protection and stays in place once applied. Maintains its elasticity and wear-resistance, even after drying.

  • The coating boasts greater strength than previous products, delivering improved protection against kicked-up stones, splashing water, salt damage and abrasion.

  • Demonstrates excellent sound absorption and vibration-proofing.

  • Contains no toluene, methanol, or xylene. The maximum ethyl acetate content is 5%, improving safety and reducing odour.

  • The amount of liquid splashing when spraying-on is small. A second coating can be applied 1 to 2 hours after application (may vary depending on air temperature and humidity) allowing overcoats with commercially available paints.

  • Allows for oil and water-based paint overcoats, regardless of whether the paint is a single or dual component type.

  • Temperature resistance: -20°C to +80°C
Notice
  • Shake the container well before using.

  • Be sure to use the product-compatible air gun at the rated air pressure.

InstructionsHow to use:
  • Completely remove all dirt, old paint, oil, and moisture from the surface which is to be worked on, and make sure it is dry. Remove as much rust as possible with a wire brush or similar other tool. Pre-treat with Quick Dry Rust Proofing Spray (Art No. 0893 210 1).

  • Use masking to prevent the product from adhering to areas not intended for application.

  • Shake the can well.

  • A: If using 1,000 ml (for use over a wide area): attach the dedicated spray gun and do a trial spray (gun air pressure 3 to 4 bars). Keep approximately 30 cm away from the surface to be treated and spray evenly.

  • B: If using aerosol can: simply spray on directly.

  • After allowing to dry for approximately 1 to 2 hours, an overcoat may be applied such as a second coat, a commercially available two-component paint or a base coat.

  • *If reapplication or an overcoat is required after 24 hours from the first application, start from step (1) again.

  • *When using two-component type paints, it is recommended to first apply a primer and then, once fully dried, apply the coating.
