- Spray directly onto the evaporator using a dedicated high-pressure spray gun to improve air quality in the vehicle.
- Removes the biofilm built up by microorganisms (fungi, bacteria).
- Eliminates unpleasant odours caused by mould and bacteria.
- Contains no allergenic dyes or fragrances.
- For cleaning out evaporators without the need for water.
Notice
- Regularly replace the cabin air filter and clean the filter housing. Do not rinse the system with water after cleaning.
- Make sure to wear a protective mask and use in a well ventilated space.
- Shelf life of 24 months when stored in an optimum environment (15 to 25°C, around 60% humidity)
Application areaDeodorising and antibacterial cleaner for AC system evaporators
InstructionsInstructions (before use):
Inserting the nozzle into the evaporator:
Option 1: If the cabin air filter is located between the fan motor and evaporator
Option 2: If the cabin air filter is located in the motor compartment or at the front of the fan motor
Option 3: If there is no temperature sensor or fan resistor installed and no way of inserting the nozzle
Option 4: If there is no temperature sensor or fan resistor installed on the evaporator and the fan motor cannot be removed
- 1. Follow existing cleaning instructions in the vehicle's user manual if available.
- 2. Turn off the ignition, fan and air conditioning before using the spray.
- 3. Cover any electronic equipment in the spray zone to avoid getting it wet. Instructions (during use): see p.2 for nozzle insertion
- 4. Close the footwell air vent.
- 5. Fill the pressure cup with 1 litre of cleaner and connect to the spray gun unit (maximum pressure: 10 bar).
- 6. Insert the probe into the evaporator opening.
- 7. Once the probe is inserted, cover the filter box to prevent the inside of the vehicle from getting wet.
- 8. Place your thumb on the guide disc to adjust the direction of the spray.
- 9. Use the spray gun to wash out the evaporator with the cleaner. Waste liquid will come out of the drain, so place a drain pan under the vehicle.
- 10. There is no need to check the drain during cleaning. As long as liquid is coming out of the drain, the cleaner is working.
- 11. Use the entire amount of cleaner in the spray gun.
- 12. Reattach any parts you removed, such as filters.
- 13. Open all air conditioner outlets, set the air to recirculate at a medium temperature with the fan set at the maximum level and run the AC system for 5 minutes. Then open the windows to let in air from outside and run the AC for another 5 minutes.
- 14. Turn the AC system and ignition off. If the system does not have a cabin air filter, use compressed air to remove dirt.
- 15. After cleaning, apply silicone grease to the threaded sections of the dedicated spray gun pressure tank and the plunger at the rear of the release lever.
Inserting the nozzle into the evaporator:
Option 1: If the cabin air filter is located between the fan motor and evaporator
- Remove the cabin air filter and clean via the cabin filter air box.
Option 2: If the cabin air filter is located in the motor compartment or at the front of the fan motor
- Check whether there is a temperature sensor or fan resistor near the evaporator. If so, remove one of these and clean the evaporator via the opening.
Option 3: If there is no temperature sensor or fan resistor installed and no way of inserting the nozzle
- Remove the fan motor and clean the evaporator.
Option 4: If there is no temperature sensor or fan resistor installed on the evaporator and the fan motor cannot be removed
- Drill a 20‑mm hole in the front and back of the evaporator. After cleaning, close off the hole with an appropriately sized rubber plug or duct tape.
